New $2.7 million Pharmaceutical Drug made from stolen thymuses
+ MORE INFANT THYMUS DRUGS ON THE HORIZON
RETHYMIC®, studied across ten clinical trials FOR OVER 25 YEARS, is manufactured from thymus tissue collected from infants under 9 months of age who undergo heart surgery. (see page 3 FDA gov approval pdf)
Rethymic costs around $2,700,000 per implant
Oct 09, 2021 Enzyvant Received FDA Approval for RETHYMIC® (allogeneic processed thymus tissue-agdc).
Rethymic is contra-indicated for patients with past EBV or CMV infecton. It leads to death in all patients treated. Rethymic has warnings regarding the possible development of lymphoproliferative disorders. (blood cancers), autoimmune disorders, and graft-versus-host disease. It may increase the risk of autoimmune-mediated conditions. These events included: thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, proteinuria, hemolytic anemia, alopecia, hypothyroidism, autoimmune hepatitis, autoimmune arthritis, transverse myelitis, albinism, hyperthyroidism, and ovarian failure.
Not so for calf thymus extracts, they improve the immune system of those who are or have been infected with CMV/EBV. Why even steal infant thymuses, only to make a dangerous drug out of them? They have 2.7 million reasons, all starting with 💲
More Therapies on the Horizon Using Harvested Thymus Organs
Regulatory T cell (Treg)-based therapy - “We investigated the potential of discarded human thymuses, routinely removed during pediatric cardiac surgery, to be used as a novel source of therapeutic Tregs…. a promising approach to treat many immune-mediated disorders such as autoimmune diseases, organ transplant rejection, and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). “
Profitable clinical trials are being conducted using these cells with plans for future pharmaceuticals.
Human Neonatal Thymus Mesenchymal Stem Cells- (from infant’s harvested Thymus organs) may be used to promote cardiac function in an in vitro model of heart tissue and warrant further consideration as a cell therapy.
Discarded Human Thymus Is a Novel Source of Stable and Long-Lived Therapeutic Regulatory T Cells We investigated the potential of discarded human thymuses, routinely removed during pediatric cardiac surgery, to be used as a novel source of therapeutic Tregs.
What about my child’s regulatory cells? Doesn’t he deserve to keep his immune organ? Don’t ALL CHILDREN deserve to keep their organs?
History of thymectomy
Study of thymectomy in animals is how science learned about immunology. All animals thymectomized developed severe to significant immunodeficiency following thymectomy, newborn animals most always die. The younger the animal, the more severe the consequences.
In the 1970’s scientists were interested in removing thymuses from infants during heart surgery. Heart surgery was and is successful without organ theft. A 1979 Bioethics book declared thymectomy of human babies unethical. It may lead to lethal infections and has unknown long term consequences.
They stole infant thymuses anyway.
Define Discarded Tissues:
Since infant thymectomy began, these organs have been used, not discarded. They are sold to pharma and used for research however they call these harvested organs “discarded tissues.”
The thymus is an ORGAN, A VITAL ONE, not a “discarded tissue”. It’s vital for development and maintenance of the immune system and vital to the body's chemical messaging and endocrine system.
Do they need to remove the thymus?
Alder Hey hospital was exposed for harvesting thymuses from babies, selling them to pharmaceutical companies. I was told by attorneys it is “common practice” to remove the thymus, therefore legal, despite decades of research showing it is harmful, several articles even going so far to say it SHOULD NOT BE DONE.
If they truly feel the need to move it out of the way, they do not need to ligate it and if they do, it is easily placed back after surgery. Thymus tissue will activate and thrive next to ANY MUSCLE TISSUE, has been implanted next to the pancreas curing mice of diabetes, placed in the thigh muscle of children.
Comparatively, during a C-section, organs are moved aside so that the doctor can see your uterus better. But the organs stay within the abdominal cavity and aren't taken out. In rare cases, the intestines may be temporarily lifted out for better visualization and space to operate, but not permanently. THEY DO NOT STEAL INTESTINES.
Good work. But, please, don't give them any ideas about intestines. They will be selling them for sausage casing. I mean, the average small intestine is twenty-six feet long. They will be thinking, "Surely the patient won't miss a few feet." As a Crohn's sufferer I have fortunately been able to keep all mine, but others have have not been so lucky.
I read late, and sometimes go to bed thinking about you & your son. As I grow older I try to not look away. I think most people have something almost button-like in their brain, that just turns off at meeting Big Evil. The deeper your truth, the more people flee. I was that way too. I didn't technically know about Thymectomy until reading you. Then, I realized, at some level I did. Know so much was wrong. I know several children with severe health issues, and complicated involvement with hospitals. This newest article answers part of my question "what do they do with the body parts?" I have nothing to offer you except to say I am your witness. And to acknowledge your indomitable spirit. Lately I've had a chance to offer care in a couple of difficult situations; you have inspired me. Many thanks💛
