One in a hundred babies, or 1.3 million per year around the world, are born with congenital heart defects (CHD), of which over 70% will require medical or surgical treatment within their first year of life. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33407026/
The reason they give is for better access to the heart. No other organ is removed from a human for better access and if it is, as is the case of caesarean section, they place the organ back. Instead of placing the thymus back they sell it to pharmaceutical companies and implant the thymus into AIDS patients and other babies. https://thymuscures.substack.com/publish/posts/detail/144512800?referrer=%2Fpublish%2Fposts One bioethics book I own from the 1970’s said thymectomy during heart surgery is unethical, high risk of infection, death and future immunodeficiency but they did it anyway even though heart surgery was performed successfully prior to thymectomy. https://thymuscures.substack.com/p/research-on-human-subjects?r=1v47r7
If you have good insurance get a referral to an immunologist, have N,K,T cell testing, any immune testing they will offer you. Knowing where the immune system is at right now is important. If you qualify for IVIG consider risk-benefits
Take reduced glutathione or NAC (unless you're like me and have chronic strep throat)
I'm checking out some new supplements but these are the immune ones I recommend for now:
Pro boost thymic protein A
Mannatech ambrotose (vital key)
Colostrum with transfer factor
Optional:
Aller 7 if you have allergies
Thymic peptide injections if you have the money for them.
NKC and check for T cell exhaustion,, I recently heard about that from a someone who had Covid, w/ weaponized Lyme. I love those NKC's (Natural Killer Cells).. human body is amazing.
I just found your Substack. I had a "quote Thyroid storm" just before Covid began... very briefly and I am outside the normal age range; I retired from working in medicine both clinically and in research. I dxd myself (as usual) because I had this feeling of deep bone exhaustion and vague feeling of dread, my doctor knows me well.. and we both "educated" guessed Thyroid and we ran the labs. It subsided after a year w/ medication: but it was the signal that my body was stressed (I was working on a serious case in medicine). very very interesting work article. A lifelong friend had thyroid cancer and 10 years later she developed non small cell lung cancer (non smoker and very healthy genetic background). Johns Hopkins said it was from her exposure to radiation when she was taking her father to Throat cancer radiation. Having worked in a BF 4 lab and I was exposed to radiation (from working in the BF lab) but that was speculative. I will say this about that: THERE more than one "D" student in med schools,, and in fact.. the world used to be surprised at the amounting CHEATING scandals in Med School. NOW since COVID.. and the current medical "HEROS" in all fields.. we all know.. yep.. dumb da dumb DUMB.. I like your "emojis".. take care. keep up the good work.
like I said there is at least ONE D STUDENT .. or more in every medical school graduating class and also lots of cheating going on. Finally exposed by the IDIOCRACY of Covid.. and its clinicians. IT IS ABOUT MONEY AFTER ALL.. anyway I need to get a good night's rest. take care. (No, I was not the D student but I did notice the cheating going on..so much for honor system and do no harm.) more like the three monkeys "see no evil, speak no evil and say no evil" if you know what I mean.. in other words CYA. 100 percent of the time. one of the reason I went into RESEARCH.
Isn't heart surgery on infants extremely rare, though? What excuse is given for removing the thymus?
Thank you so much for your great questions!!! <3

Terrible.
What advice would you have for folks who have undergone thymectomy Heidi?

Thank you. This is advice for my mom. She didn't have a great time with covid after three boosters, and has some other health issues.
I suspect covid will visit again, and would like to get her as ready as possible...
You're welcome. ❤
